Copies can be obtained through the author, mhaykin@sbts.edu This book was produced on the fiftieth anniversary of its founding and despite having only a short history its carefully maintained records have produced a rich account of its witness in its local community, as well as in its members’ missionary service overseas. It is written in an easily accessible popular style with numerous mainly colour pictures spread through the various chapters. The factual account of the founding of the congre- gation and its ongoing work is clearly presented by the author who is a church member and a well-known professional historian. The voices of male and female participants in the story are heard through selected short accounts of events such as ‘Coffee Time’,an outreach to women in the community by Mary Pipe; testimonies of reasons why people joined the church, for example, by Nancy and Graham Lowe, together with transcripts of memorable sermons by Deric Bartlett and John Mahaffey.
