Abstract
SUMMARY K. A. Schedl: Scolytidae and Platypodidae (Coleoptera) collected in French Guiana by the National Museum of Natural History Expedition In the collection are represented 20 specimens of Scolytidae, 61 specimens of Platypodidae. The Scolytidae include 8 species, the Platypodidae 11 species. From the Scolytidae are 2, from the Platypodidae 1 species new to science. For all species exact localities and collecting dates are mentioned.
