Sur la Biologie d'Epinotia (Evetria) Cedricida Diakonoff Grave Ravageur du Cèdre en France [Lep. Tortricidae]

Sur la Biologie d'Epinotia (Evetria) Cedricida Diakonoff Grave Ravageur du Cèdre en France... SUMMARY The life cycle of Epinotia (Evetria) cedricida Diakonoff, a severe pest of Cedrus libanotica ssp. atlantica in the Lubéron Range, Vaucluse, southern France, appears to be univoltine. Adults emerge in June-July; eggs are laid separately or in pairs at the base of the needles of Cedrus. Young larvae are mining the needles during the initial two to three instars in October-November; afterwards they spin an open sheath around a bundle of needles which they devour, living in this way until March. In April until May a loose silken cocoon in the soil is made, in which they pupate. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Annales de la Société entomologique de France (N S ) Taylor & Francis
