Synopsis des Hyperaspis Paléarctiques [Col. Coccinellidae] SUMMARY S. M. Iablokoff-Khnzorian: Synopsis of the palaearctic Hyperaspis [Col. Coccinellidae]. The paper rewiews the palearctic species of the genus Hyperaspis Chevrolat. It contains the description of two new species: H. weisei and H. turanica. The examination of types showed that H. marginella F. and subconcolor Wse are synonyms of H. reppensis Hrbst. H. pseudopustulata Muls. and its synonym subconcolor sensu Günther are supposed to be a subspecies of the precedent. H. algerica Crotch, syriaca Wse, quadrimaculata Redt., femorata Motsch., effusa Wse are considered as good species. H. inaudax Muls (type in Moscow) and desertorum collaris Fleisch. are synonyms of femorata. H. vicaria Zasl. is a synonym of H. histeroides Fald., which is a good species. H. amurensis Wse is a good species too, and H. babai Kamiya a subspecies of it. H. japonica Crotch and testaceicornis Wse are considered as synonyms of sinensis Crotch. H. guillardi Muls. (type in Moscow) is a synonym of erythrocephala F. and gyotokui Kamiya, a subspecies of it. Coccinella sexpustulata Motsch., H. erythrocephala ab. deficiens Wse, assimilis Zasl. and, probably, caucasica Crotch are synonyms of guttulata Fairm. H. transversoguttata v. decemguttata Fleischer is a synonym of polita Wse and alexandrae Wse is considered as a form of transversoguttata Wse.
