Summary G. Le Roux: Study of the stridulations produced by Myrmica laevinodis Nyl. [Hym. Formicidae]. This paper describes the stridulatory apparatus of Myrmica laevinodis, results obtained by means of scanning electronic microscope. Between casts, there are differences in the size of the stridulatory area and in the number of ridges. The emissions which consist of a sequence of chirps, have a frequency spectrum situated in the audible range, but at a very low level.
