Summary Trichogramma maxacalii, n. sp. (Hym., Trichogrammatidae) is issued from Lepidoptera Erycinidae eggs, Euselasia euploea eucerus Hewitson, depredator of Eucalyptus paniculata in Brazil. Described by means of morphological as well as ultrastructural and biometrical characters, this species is distinguished principally from others Trichogramma by the typical position of ventral protuberances of the male external genital organs and the form of the dorsal plate.
