He is widely known for his Appalachian photography. FRED DE ROSSET is Assistant Professor of Spanish at Berea College and is on the Editorial Board of Katallagete. His photographs are used in John Wallhausser's article. WILMA DYKEMAN, North Carolina native, lives in Newport, Tennessee. She is best known for her novels The Tall Woman and The Far Family. In addition to novels, she has written several non-fiction books, of which her latest is Explorations.
