fi FROM HOW TO RECOGNIZE GOD'S CHOSEN xxxviii. the faithful will come to zhe & demand a song of zion, so zhe will turn & chant: praise the sturgeon & the lungsh praise the ginkos & echidnas the puzzle monkey tree & the horseshoe crab but zhe, the faithful will say, we want a song of heaven, of everlasting life, so zhe will turn again & sing: praise the resurrection plant & lichen the snapping turtle & the hellbender praise the yew, the bristlecone pine, & the sacred fig 40 but zhe, sing to us of a time outside time, they will say, sing to us of the great beyond, so zhe will turn & lift up with hir voice: praise the work of roots, rhizomes, & mycelium praise, praise the eastern juniper & shaggy-maned moss the ant, praise the ant & bloodroot & trout lilies & wild ginger, praise JEREMY PADEN
