Aquaculture, Fish and Fisheries, 2, 189–201. https://doi.org/10.1002/aff2.46In the paper by Mequanent et al, the authors have since acknowledged the following errors:The formula of the Shannon Index, (H') = Σ𝑝𝑖ln𝑝𝑖𝑛𝑛 = 𝑖 is incorrect, as there is no minus sign (‐). The correct version should read (H') = −Σ𝑝𝑖ln𝑝𝑖𝑛𝑛 = 𝑖.In Figure 3, the equation for L. intermedies is linear (not exponential) to find the value of "b". The correct figure should read as below:The year in the reference “Mequanent, D., Mingist, M., & Getahun, A. et al. (2021a). Impact of irrigation practices on Gilgel Abay, Ribband Gumara fisheries, Tana Sub‐Basin, Ethiopia.
