International Journal of Applied Psychoanalytic Studies

International Journal of Applied Psychoanalytic Studies We move in 2015 to our seventeenth year of publication, having been published originally by Human Sciences Press/Plenum starting in 1999 under the name “ Journal of Applied Psychoanalytic Studies ”. Human Sciences Press later was purchased by Kluwer Academic which we were with until 2004, when Whurr Publishers, a U.K. based publisher, became our publisher and our journal became the International Journal of Applied Psychoanalytic Studies . Soon after, John Wiley and Sons became our publisher, and we are now enjoying our twelfth year of publication with Wiley. With the strong support of Wiley, we have become a well‐established journal with a regular readership that is exposed to an international group of authors. In fact, in 2014, authors from 14 countries submitted papers for review with the contribution from the U.S. and the U.K. comprising only 50%, which is unusual inasmuch as these two nations generally dominate the English psychoanalytic literature. We have become, we are pleased to note, truly international, inasmuch as we have author contributors from Asia, Australia, Africa, North and South America, Europe, and the Middle East. From our beginning in 1999, we have strived to focus on publishing papers that apply psychoanalytic approaches http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png International Journal of Applied Psychoanalytic Studies Wiley

Abstract

We move in 2015 to our seventeenth year of publication, having been published originally by Human Sciences Press/Plenum starting in 1999 under the name “ Journal of Applied Psychoanalytic Studies ”. From our beginning in 1999, we have strived to focus on publishing papers that apply psychoanalytic approaches
