Dr Tom Lawson first ran #JanuAIRWAY via his personal Twitter account (@Vapourologist) in January 2021. Following his appointment as the Difficult Airway Society (DAS) co‐lead for education, and with input and support from the DAS trainee representatives, DAS took on #JanuAIRWAY in January 2022 with a month of daily airway educational ‘tweetorials’, each comprising a linked series (‘thread’) of themed educational material.A programme of teaching materials was created to cover a broad range of airway management topics, designed to appeal to a wide audience, from the novice to the experienced practitioner. Difficult Airway Society contacts were engaged to gain expert input into themed days, improving content wherever possible.A ‘bitesize’ learning approach was used with educational threads including a series of ‘one‐pagers’ (Fig. 1) and curated links to interesting and relevant papers for further reading. One hundred and fifty‐one ‘one‐pagers’, 85 pictures and four videos accompanied the 31 threads. All content was sent to the DAS expert panel for review and comment prior to the start of the educational event. The tweetorials were posted daily between 06:00 and 07:00 Greenwich Mean Time from the @dastrainees twitter account.
