Notes on the breeding and egg–laying of some reptiles at Berne Zoo Cayman Island Dwarf boa Tropidophis melanurus caymanensis Three specimens, of which two were definitely female and one was believed to be a male, were received at the Baltimore Zoo on 28 June 196j. These snakes were kept in the same cage for about two weeks after receipt but no matings were observed. On 19 November 1965 the smaller female, about 30 cm long, gave birth to three living young.
