Nudibranchs: butterflies of the sea

Nudibranchs: butterflies of the sea Sea slug nudibranchs are exotic representatives of the Mollusca, rivalling orchids or butterflies in their beauty. Colourful nudibranchs are found in both tropical and temperate seas. Aquarium husbandry, as practised by the Seattle Aquarium, is presented here for temperate species. The nudibranchs found in the Seattle area are representative of the population on the coast of the north‐eastern Pacific Ocean, from the state of California to Alaska. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png International Zoo Yearbook Wiley

Abstract

Sea slug nudibranchs are exotic representatives of the Mollusca, rivalling orchids or butterflies in their beauty.
